Victoria Plum were going through a period of digital transformation with the launch of a new website along with rapid growth in their in-house backend development teams. With turnover increasing to £71m, they were keen to make the most of the growth in the DIY and renovations sector to become a household name in their industry.
We came on board to support their frontend teams, having helped with their frontend build during the previous year which meant that we already had in-depth knowledge of how their systems worked. We hit the ground running developing the architecture for their frontend pattern library as well as working closely with the DevOps team to help create build pipelines and deployment scripts to ensure a fast workflow through to production.
We worked with Victoria Plum for 2 years whilst the transformation took place to ensure a smooth transition to their newly recruited in-house team of developers as well as seeing features through from the design phases to live deployment.
